My experience with casual observers is that objects higher than 60 degrees are often regarded as near or at the zenith. This is natural because our brains are built to deal with objects near a horizontal plane. So the sun could have been 60 - 90 degrees.
It is likely that we have a circumscribed halo with a 22 degree fragment. However, i am not comfortable with the image - it does not look right. for example, the circumscribed is not brighter where the 22 degree would be tangent to it.
The image has been grotesquely over enhanced such that I would not attempt to analyse it. I would disregard it ;-)"

Akkor a kis képen miért dupla? az nem pano, hanem zoomolt kép.
